On Monday, I realized that I didn’t have anything planned for Mother’s Day at school. We’ve been grown some herbs in the class since spring started, and one of the kids suggested we give away one of our plants to mom for Mother’s Day! Perfect! So i headed down to the dollar store and found tiny terra cotta pots (3 for $1… Score!). We used some of my acrylic paints and voilà 18 pots for under $20! The kids loved this project and it looks so cute! I hope mom will enjoy the fresh basil!
