Hi there! I wanted to share these ADORABLE little bunnies i made with my students for Easter. They absolutely loved them, and best of all they were made with pieces of cardboard boxes and egg cartons. Horray for recycled materials!
What you’ll need:
- egg carton
- corrugated cardboard (like a cardboard box)
- acrylic paint
- black and coloured sharpies
- white glue (I used tacky glue)
To make them, I cut the cardboard to measure 4 x 6” and I also precut all the egg carton faces. For the ears, I traced them out of the toop of my egg carton. The kids started with the background and made sure to draw a “shirt” shape at the bottom. Then, they painted the bunny features. I glued them on their cardboard and when everything was dry, they added details with Sharpies! Voilà!
