hi there! I wanted to share with you a quick little gift bag that I made for some friends! We are celebrating our good friend’s wedding this weekend, so we wanted to gift then some bubbles! I didn’t have a bag, so my husband suggested I make one…duh! So after a deep Pinterest dive, I found this Easy Tutorial on the blog Smashed Peas and Carrots. It’s so clear and easy to follow! All you need is two pieces of fabric that measure 12×16″ and done ribbon or rope! Oh and I just had to add an iron on transfer and a special tag ❤️!!

You’ll need a few pieces of scrap fabric, some ribbon and about 15 minutes!
(ended up switching to jute rope)

Here are a few instructions, or you can follow a more detailed approach with this Easy Tutorial !

Fold you two pieces of fabric lenght wise and sew around the long side and the botton
Do the same for the other piece.
Sew the corder the make the bottom boxy.
clip the the corners.
fold and press the top edge on both pieces.
Put wrong side together and sew around the edge! You’re done!
Thought it looked too “naked” so I decided to add a little “cheers” iron-on transfer that I cut with my Cricut!
Add a riboon or some rope and Voilà!
We aren’t big drinkers, so we bought some yummy pear sparkling drink instead!
I just had to add a personalized gift tag for the happy couple!
