BABY CricutMaker Sewing

Fabric Bunting… from Space!

Hi there! I had so much fun using my sewing machine AND my Cricut Maker! My friend recently told me that her nursery was space themed and my mind immediatly went to “WHAT CAN I MAKE!?”. What can I say… I just love to have a purpose to craft! So I decided to make this sweet little fabric pennant garland with this beautiful space fabric I found at Fabricland. I added her baby’s name with iron-on vinyl, but I thought it was missing something. So I found little stars and dots and voilĂ !!! GALAXY MAGIC!!

I ended up mailing it to them as they have their hands full – little Liam was born not too long ago – and they just got it! They absolutely love it and it’s going right above their crib. Another successful craft!

Materials:

  • space (patterned) cotton quilting fabric
  • solid quilting cotton (I used a navy blue)
  • Double fold bias tape
  • this sweet template from Treasurie.com
  • Sewing machine + coordinating thread + iron
Gathered all my materials!
It turned out so well!!
