Hi there! I had so much fun using my sewing machine AND my Cricut Maker! My friend recently told me that her nursery was space themed and my mind immediatly went to “WHAT CAN I MAKE!?”. What can I say… I just love to have a purpose to craft! So I decided to make this sweet little fabric pennant garland with this beautiful space fabric I found at Fabricland. I added her baby’s name with iron-on vinyl, but I thought it was missing something. So I found little stars and dots and voilà!!! GALAXY MAGIC!!

I ended up mailing it to them as they have their hands full – little Liam was born not too long ago – and they just got it! They absolutely love it and it’s going right above their crib. Another successful craft!

Materials:

  • space (patterned) cotton quilting fabric
  • solid quilting cotton (I used a navy blue)
  • Double fold bias tape
  • this sweet template from Treasurie.com
  • Sewing machine + coordinating thread + iron
Gathered all my materials!
Cut out your template (I used medium) and trace onto your solid fabric.
I used the other part of the template to find a good pattern positionning.
I sewed the triagnles right side together, then turned them ritgh side out and pressed them. After that I lined them all up!
I sewed the triangles into my bias tape then I cut out my iron-on vinyl and laid it out
Look at those stars!!! MAGICAL!
All done!
It turned out so well!!

Hi there! Here’s a little Spring we made in class the other day. The windows looked so lovely with these suncatchers! All you need is cardstock, contact paper and tissue paper. I used my Cricut and this file to make them! Happy crafting!

🌎Happy Earth Day! I wanted to share these little plant cards I made this weekend. I just love Earth Day and I wanted to gift some plants to my daughter’s teachers. I was growing some pothos shoots in a glass jar and already had some planters and soil in my garage… a perfect eco-friendly gift! …
