Hi there! I wanted to share this cute little Valentine’s Day card I made for my hubby a few years back. I just love making him “punny cards” and already have a few ideas for one this year… but I can’t post it ’til Valentine’s Day or it’ll ruin the surprise!

Here’s what you’ll need for the pear card:

  • cardstock (blue + 3 different shades of green)
  • glue and scissors
  • Ultra thin black marker (0.1)
  • brown + red colouring pencils
Draw a pear outline and a leaf.
Cut out two pears at once and the leaves as well.
Draw the little faces with a black marker.
Glue your pears down.
Draw the stems.
Draw the leaves
Add the little hearts and draw a black outline.
Just write “we make a great pear” or pre-print it on your card before you get started!

Here’s a few I made in the past!

And a blog post and instructions for this tea-rrific card!
