Hi there! What a busy July it’s been! I’ve been crafting a lot, just haven’t had any time to post about it! Here an easy little project I did for our Ikea Antilop high chair. We bought it second hand and I didn’t feel like spending much on a cushion. So I did some Pinterest research and found this little tutorial. PERFECT! Since we use this chair outside at grandma & grandpa’s house, I decided to get some outdoor fabric. I spent about $5 (awesome sale!) at the fabric store and it turned out great!!

What you’ll need:

  • 0.3m of outdoor or patterned fabric
  • 0.3m of plain fabric (I used broadcloth)
  • some quilting batting
  • a ribon
  • the printed template found here

After printing my template and gluing it together, I cut all my pieces out following the instructions. Then tutorial was very straightforward and this project was super fast! It looks great at my parents house, even matches their red patio cushions!

Hi there! I was recently contacted by a shop owner in Toronto who wanted some pennant banners for a Flea Market they’re putting on this Sunday: @hogtownflea. I thought he wanted one or two banners to decorate for the market…. but I ended up making 20! Oh my gosh! So needless to say, I did …

Hi there! I wanted to share the little szippered pouches I recently made for my craft sale (and also a gift favorite!). I had lots of little pieces of fabric left over from my mask making days, and thought they would look great as little zippered pouches. Then I found the PERFECT tutorial HERE. It …

Hi there! I wanted to share the fun fabric bunting I made for my Craft Sale yesterday. I don’t think I’ll open an Etsy store anytime soon, but it was so fun seeing kids and adults buying my things and hearing what they’ll do with it! I just love these little pennants and I plan …
